Kindling that Motivational Fire

How does one stay open to the motivational fire that drives an artist to keep creating art, especially given all the obstacles life puts in our way?

Our only option is to engage all avenues open to our imagination, pausing to take a deep breath when we become deterred, then jumping back in to the oncoming situation head first.

Our Experience, Your Benefits!

We would love to just take your work and sell it, however we incur costs and as you may already know the costs of living in New York nearly triples more than anywhere else in the world, thus we must pay our magazine and gallery staff as well as production costs. We have been in publishing and showcasing work in our gallery for almost 20 years, so take pride in the network we have built for us. A part of this particular program is to help the artists whom we are working with gain exposure and publicity on an international level through our print and online publications. We offer a full page publication in NY Arts Magazine with your statement and photos of your art, direct links from our site to your site so buyers can buy directly from you and you reap all the benefits…

Working Against a Harsh Reality

Unfortunately making a living from ones art work is extremely unlikely. One famous critic has suggested that “an artist has a better chance with the lottery.” Still when there are sales it’s most often from the very people in ones own community, and our promotion/publicity is to further validate you art and thereby encourage others to support and purchase you work. The fact is that getting constructive feedback amongst our colleagues is very important.
